gave following the August accident in which our Ford 150 truck was damaged
by another vehicle.
A terrible experience
was rendered less so by the courtesy, professionalism, and speed with
which our problems were handled. From the moment in which our truck arrived
at Les Jacobs and I was greeted by Mr. Jacobs personally, saying 'We'll
take good care of you,' there was confidence we were in the right place.
George Allen, the Manager, personally took care of the details regarding
all aspects of this transaction. He made all the necessary calls, reassured
us, explained all steps in the repair process that would need to be taken,
and notified us of progress and what was going to happen next.
When
George called us and informed us that the truck
was finished and ready, we arrived to find it
as clean and sparkling as the day we had bought
it. No small detail had been overlooked. One
of our tiny little tire pressure monitors had
been destroyed in the crash and there was a
brand new one, and the box with the other three
new ones was on the console.
In the confusion of
the aftermath of the wreck, personal items including cash had been left
in the vehicle and some things had landed, unnoticed on the floor, and
had been forgotten as the truck was left for repair. When we picked it
up there was nothing on the floor, everything had been put in its place
and all items were intact.
In a time when customer
service has become mostly 'lip service,' it really is so appreciated to
encounter a company and its people who embody old-fashioned honesty and
professional performance along with the latest technology. And in passing,
we have to note how clean and neat the entire shop was. These folks take
obvious pride in what they do and that pride is justified.
So now our truck is
up and running even better than before and we are happy customers who,
when in need of our next new vehicle, already know where we will go to
get it!
May we suggest that
the motto for your company should be: You'll get better miles per gallon
